BIO
Roberto Morean was born in Caracas, Venezuela on November 18th, 1994. In 2000, he moved to Miami, Florida where he grew up and attended Palmer Trinity School. In August 2013, Roberto moved to New York City to study Musical Theater at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, in the New Studio on Broadway. For his final senior semester, Roberto studied at Stonestreet Studios to focus on the techniques of acting on film. Roberto graduated from the New York University (NYU) in May 2017 after receiving the Presidents Service Award, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama with a concentration in Musical Theater.
Roberto recently made his Broadway debut in "Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song”. Aditionaly, Roberto was recently seen on TV in the CW’s “Black Lightning”, will be on HBO Max's "The Flight Attendant" starring The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, and has filmed multiple national and international commercials throughout the last 7 years. Roberto starred in the New York City Premier of “Blue Stockings” as Will Bennett in the NYU MainStage in 2016 and has also performed in various cabarets, concerts and benefits throughout New York City in venues including 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Rockwood Music Hall, Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, The Eisner and Lubin Auditorium, Playbill, and more.
As an influencer, Rob has worked with brands such as K-Swiss, Daniel Wellington, Boy Smells Candles, SWIMS, JJ Malibu, Ernest Supplies, More Labs, CLEAR, Drink Babe, Morning Recovery, and many more. He is represented by The Cast for Digital/Social Media.
In addition to performing, Roberto works very closely with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In October 2014, Roberto was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Fortunately, on January 15th, 2015, Roberto entered remission. Since then, he has committed himself to doing as much as he can to raise essential funds and awareness to end blood cancers by combining his love of the arts with his philanthropic endeavors. Roberto has hosted various events and galas for LLS including the 2016 and 2017 Man and Woman of the Year Gala’s at the New York Plaza and at Capitale, The National Man and Woman of the Year Awards Ceremony at Harrahs in Atlantic City, he opened for Robin Thicke at the 2017 Light the Night Ceremony at the Summer Stages in Central Park and more. Additionally, Roberto also created his own benefit- "Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret for a Cure” which featured Broadway and Television stars performing alongside Broadway’s rising stars which raised over $40,000, cumulatively. During the COVID Pandemic, Rob worked with the National Office to executive produce, direct, and host a virtual benefit celebrating the Broadway called "Band Together: Lights Up On Broadway" featuring Matthew Morrison, Randy Graff, Michael Cerveris, Max von Essen, Elizabeth Stanley, Griffin Matthews, Robin de Jesus, Greg Jbara, Michael Urie, Liisi LaFontaine, Sojourner Brown, Nick Adams, John Riddle, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jelani Remy and more.
