How It Works:

  • Choose an Artist to instantly book your class.

  • Select your desired class focus at checkout. Be ready with your questions and any prepared material.

  • Classes will be taught online, via Zoom. A private Zoom link will be included in your email confirmation.

Cancellation/ Rescheduling Policy:

You may reschedule your class up to 24 hours prior to your original class time for no charge. Please use the "Reschedule" button in your confirmation email to reschedule. Your artist may reschedule your class. If this happens, you will receive an email notification that your class has been moved to the next available slot. You may then use the "Reschedule" button in your email to choose your new preferred date/ time. Please note: no refunds will be given for any reason, no exceptions.

Recordings:

Zoom classes may be recorded for safety and archival purposes. Portions of recorded classes may be featured on social media. By booking, you agree that your class may be featured on social media for educational purposes.

Access to 1-on-1 recordings is not guaranteed, but you may email us within 24 hours after your class and request a copy of your video (1-on-1s only).

At this time, we are unable to provide copies of workshop recordings.

1-on-1 Lessons:

What should I prepare for my class?

When choosing your lesson, you’ll select a desired focus. Please prepare material based on that focus, and your artist will give critical feedback. For Q&As, you may prepare questions or ask advice.

We understand things happen. If you miss your class, your artist may choose to reschedule you. If this happens, you’ll receive an email notification that your class has been rescheduled. Please note: We cannot guarantee that missed classes will be rescheduled, and we are unable to offer refunds.

Can I contact my artist directly?

A&B is unable to provide artist contact information. Your time and contact with your artist takes place exclusively on Zoom. However, artists have your information and reserve the right to get in touch. If your artist contacts you directly, you are not permitted to share their contact information with anyone.

Masterclass FAQs:

How do I book a masterclass for my group?

For all group events, including educational masterclasses, please book through our partner, Broadway Plus!

How should we structure or prepare for our class?

You are able to use your time with the artist however you like. The best way to get the most out of your class is to have a prepared agenda, based on what you find most useful for your group. Most groups do a combo of participation and Q&A. Be sure to book enough time to get everything you want! If you prefer to not have a set structure, your artist will happily lead the way!

Will the artist record a promo or shoutout video for us?

Shoutout and promotion videos are not guaranteed. However, you’re welcome to email us and we’ll ask the artist. Please note: we are unable to guarantee videos as a condition of booking.

Workshop FAQs:

What’s a participant and observer?

Participant means you take active part in receiving feedback from the artist directly. Observer means you watch the class and learn from watching others.

What do I prepare?

Class preparation varies. Check each class description for instructions on what to prepare.

What do I do on the day of my class?

Simply click the Zoom link in your email confirmation and join the class!

Can I turn my camera off during a class?

Observers, Q&A participants, and participants in group workshops without individual feedback (i.e. Dance) are not required to have their cameras on. Participants in classes with individual feedback (i.e. Acting Through Song) are required to have cameras turned on.

Are sessions recorded?

Yes, sessions are recorded for liability and kept private. At this time, we are unable to provide copies of workshop recordings.
