Hunter Ryan Herdlicka is an award-winning Broadway actor best known for his nearly two years starring on Broadway as Henrik in the Tony Award-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angela Lansbury, Bernadette Peters, and Elaine Stritch. He also appeared in the NY revivals of Dear World, opposite Tyne Daly and Once Upon a Mattress as the Minstrel, opposite Jackie Hoffman.
He graduated with a BFA in Acting/Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon. The nation’s most popular college programs continue to engage him to teach as a guest artist in musical theatre & acting including: NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Texas State University, Webster, Southern Methodist University, University of Arizona, University of Alabama, Texas Tech, and many others. Hunter will be teaching acting and musical theatre at eight universities in the Spring of 2020.
The Dallas Summer Musicals recently chose to honor him with the prestigious Fullinwider Award for his contribution to the arts. Previous recipients include Victoria Clark and Tony Nominee Stark Sands.
