Van Hughes is an actor, musician and composer. He starred in Green Day's American Idiot on Broadway opposite Billie Joe Armstrong and led the US Tour. He also appeared in the world premiere production of Almost Famous at The Old Globe in San Diego. Other theatre credits include Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, 9 to 5, Hairspray, Violet, Son of a Gun, Saved, Feeling Electric, and Whisper House. He appeared in both Sex and the City films, Rachel Getting Married, and guest-starred on Law & Order: SVU, Royal Pains, and One Life To Live as well as many commercials and even voice-overs for Nickelodeon.
