BIO

Widely known for being a finalist on NBC's The Voice, recording artist, actor and producer Tony Vincent has called New York City his home since 1997. Prior to Vincent’s NYC arrival, he recorded and toured on two successful records that produced is #1 Billboard radio singles as a solo artist with EMI Records.

Shortly after his move to New York, Vincent took a detour to Broadway— first starring in the roles of Mark & Roger in Jonathan Larson’s RENT and then as Judas Iscariot in the 2000 revival of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Next, he created the role of St. Jimmy in the original Broadway cast of Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT. Vincent’s most recent Broadway appearance was headlining the rock-opera experience ROCKTOPIA.

He played Simon Zealotes in Andrew Lloyd Webber film remake of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and is also featured in the film ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER: MASTERPIECE. Vincent originated the leading role of Galileo Figaro in the rock band Queen's West End hit musical WE WILL ROCK YOU in 2002, and opened the Las Vegas production two years later. He also fronted the band on many occasions, including a performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody" at PARTY AT THE PALACE for Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee Celebratory Concert from Buckingham Palace, with a live audience of over 300 million people worldwide.

After recording with EMI and Sony Music, he independently released two more albums, A Better Way, produced by Adam Anders (Adam Lambert, Cee Lo Green), and the self-produced In My Head in 2012, following his appearance on The Voice. Tony Vincent is currently headlining the international symphony tour of THE MUSIC OF DAVID BOWIE and spearheading the artist development company PCG Theatrical (www.pcgtheatrical.com).
