Kerry Butler is a Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Award nominee most well known for her roles as Penny Pingleton in Hairspray, Clio/ Kira in Xanadu, Mrs. Heron/ Ms. Norbury/ Mrs. George in Mean Girls, and most recently Barbara in Beetlejuice on Broadway. Other Broadway credits include: Blood Brothers (Ms. Jones, Linda), Les Mis (Eponine), Gore Vidal's The Best Man (Mabel Cantwell), Rock of Ages (Sherrie), Disaster! (Marianne), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Catch Me if You Can (Brenda). She originated the role of Belle for the Toronto production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
On TV Butler has appeared on Sesame Street, One Life to Live, Lipstick Jungle, 30 Rock, Cupid, Blue Bloods, Rescue Me, White Collar, Law and Order: SVU, The Mysteries of Laura, Elementary, The Mindy Project, and Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Butler can be heard on Wallykazam!, voicing the character of Nancy the Noodle. She has a solo album entitled Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust and features some of Butler's favorite songs.
