BIO

Dennis Lorenzo’s beginnings were very humble and set the foundation for his career grounded in love, loss, passion and art form. Dennis was raised in West Philadelphia by his mother and music. The tragic loss of his father pushed him to turn negativity into productivity and used creativity as an escape. Moving forward in the face of adversity he began writing songs and at the young age of 16 taught himself to play guitar giving rhythm and melody to his words. The acoustic guitar would play an imperative role in his sound bringing his influences of Rock, Blues, R&B fused with Hip-Hop and Pop to life.

In 2013 Dennis moved to Atlanta. Dennis worked day and night writing, producing and making beats most times for free to gain exposure. That work ethic and talent granted him the opportunity to work alongside some of the greats in the industry like Teddy Riley and Tomcat. After three years in Atlanta, Dennis called L.A. his home. His first three months were rough as he was homeless living in a tent but opportunity would present itself. In 2018, he auditioned for American Idol where he would crack the top 10 and change his life forever.

Dennis Lorenzo went on to produce for The Game, Marsha Ambrosius (Songwriter for Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Jojo) and JD McCrary (Simba from Disney 2019 “The Lion King”), and worked with Grammy Winner Gary Clark Jr., Allen Stone and Lionel Richie among others. This has led him to brand partnerships with Apogee Digital, Native Instruments, Gibson Pro Audio and Westlake Pro. Dennis has come a long way but he is nowhere near finished.
