Colton Smith

BIO

My name is Colton Smith, I am 23 years old, and I am a singer-songwriter from a small town in Alabama. Growing up studying piano, musical theatre, and dance, I was an easy target for bullying. I decided to use the negativity as fuel to reach my dream. I graduated from Albertville High School and enrolled at Belmont University in Nashville, TN to further my studies in vocal performance and music business! My time in Nashville was cut short my Junior year when I was cast in a small group of American performers to live and work in a small village in the middle of Germany. Performing up to 10 shows a week, in a non-English speaking country, taught me so much about myself as an artist. After returning to the states, I was almost instantly in an audition for NBC’s “The Voice”. Getting the chance to work with Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, and Blake Shelton shaped me in ways that I can’t put into words. Since then, I moved to Los Angeles, CA and I’ve had the chance to perform all over the country. I’m so excited to share stories and music with everyone here!!
