BIO

Cherie Oakley recorded her first record at age of 4, was discovered by a talent agent and signed to her first manager by the age of 5. She spent her childhood touring the country performing in churches and auditioning for television, film and musical theater. She became an Equity actress at the age of 13 landing the lead role of Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden at The Paper Mill Playhouse.. She went on to star in off Broadways Just One World and the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. She moved to Nashville and began songwriting and singing BGVs in the studio, on TV and on tour for artists such as; Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Idina Menzel, Martina McBride, Reba, Sheryl Crow, Gretchen Wilson, Amy Grant, The Band Perry, Vince Gill and more. She recieved her first #1 as a songwriter with Turn On The Radio, released by Reba McEntire. She was on the first season of The Voice (team Xtina) and signed a record deal in 2017 working with Dann Huff. In 2018, Cherie began coaching artists and bands in vocal training, vocal dynamics, studio and stage performance.
