BIO
Austin J. Morris is a Chicago born, Oklahoma City raised artist who earned his Bachelors in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Jazz Studies on saxophone. Austin has had a versatile career as a singer, actor, saxophonist, oboist, percussionist, dancer, magician, stunt man, Master of Ceremonies, writer, director, band leader, conductor and teacher. Past credits include contracts on Holland America Line’s Volendam and Veendam and Seabourn’s Quest and Sojourn, where he performed in multiple revues alongside the legendary lyricist, Sir Tim Rice. Other roles include Kenickie in Grease, Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty, Matthew in Altar Boys, Paul in Kiss Me Kate, Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night and many more. He has spent much of his time recently as a solo artist, performing in a self-produced show titled “Jukebox Live!”, a celebration of the music and artists of the 50s and 60s. Austin is also the host of the podcast “Right-Brained Realism”, a look at the intersection of our creative and analytical selves and how we can achieve a balance between the two.
